We’ve been using the Edge finance package for the last five years, having previously worked with Sage Accounts — and the difference between the two systems is remarkable. For a parish council, the Edge finance system really has thought of everything. On the rare occasion that something new is needed, the Edge team are always willing to develop and update the software to meet our requirements.
The reports are tailor-made for presenting at council meetings, and the year-end process has been made incredibly straightforward. There are various levels of support available, but thanks to their excellent (and free!) checklists, I can now manage the whole process myself with confidence — knowing that their friendly and knowledgeable team is always there if I need them.
